- Open the Structural Pest Control Board’s Search For A License page and follow its link to the California Department of Consumer Affairs license search.
- In the Board and Bureaus field, select Structural Pest Control Board to narrow the results to this regulator.
- Search using the business name or license number provided by the company. The Board says the lookup can also search by a person’s name or license type.
- Compare the returned name and license details against the business you are evaluating. Check the displayed status and dates on the official record; do not rely only on a screenshot or copied profile.
- If a record is missing or unclear, contact the Board. Its lookup page says cancelled licenses and registrations do not appear in search results.
What this check does not establish
A license lookup does not tell you whether a company is the best fit for a particular property, whether it is available, or what treatment it may recommend. It is one piece of information to verify.
